JJ gets things confused in his mind. When he was little and he would hurt himself, we would say to him, “are you ok?”, and he equated pain to the words : are you ok. So now when he hurts himself he says are you ok. But when he started doing that I didn’t know that was what we were doing.
JJ: are you ok?
Me: I am ok. Today I need to answer some emails and I have a show tonight in a basement. I don’t know what happened to my life.
JJ: Are you ok?
Mr: Yea, I am ok. I am not really depressed. Things just have not turned out like I planed. I am not sure what happened. I stayed in school.
JJ:Are you ok?
Mr: Yea I am not upset I had kids, it’s not that. Life just is not what I thought it was going to be.
Anyway, now we know when he hurts himself he yells “are you ok?” to anyone listening.
So he started to ride a bike:

Yesterday he ran into the curb and racked himself pretty good, hunched over and started yelling, “Are you ok? Are you ok!” Then he pulled back the waistband of his pants, checking out his family jewels, yelling at them, “Are you ok? Are you ok!” And started patting them, like that helps.
See when push comes to shove he is like every other man and he talks to his little man.

It is funny you say that, I don’t feel inspirational, just taking one day at a time.
Last night was at the Comic Strip Live, which I believe is the oldest comedy club in the world, crowd was great, so much fun.
Hope you guys are doing awesome.
Thanks again for reading.
All the best,

Ah yes… the pronoun reversal thing. My son, back when he still talked said the same thing, but added “What happened to you?”

Ha, that could be really funny, he falls down and yells, “what happened to you?” really loud.
Thanks so much for reading and commenting.
